Union City Still Lifes
Through the observation and exploration of Union City Indiana, Gartin captured the still lifes she came across. All images in this series are unposted or doctored. As an outsider to Union City, Gartin’s goal with this work was to isolate everyday objects and scenes from the town and display them as art for residents to recognize as art.
