In partnership with Art Academy of Cincinnati and 3CDC, Fitterer created a custom mitten design for a temporary public art installation in Imagination Alley. This space is a beautiful resident and community focused park between Vine and Republic streets in Over-the-Rhine (OTR). Since Winter 2022, the organizations have teamed up to bring a new installation of winter-themed art to Imagination Alley.

Fitterer’s design was inspired by the traditional Ohio Star quilt pattern as well as a desire to place the viewer in the OTR neighborhood. Each mitten was constructed with duck tape. Additional shout our to Shurtape Technologies and HCG Construction for supporting this project.
