For five weeks in Fall 2024, Fitterer was the Artist in Residence at Explore the Arts in Hamilton, Montana. This residency was supported in partnership with Open AIR, an organization that places artists, writers, musicians, and other creatives throughout Western Montana. Fitterer chose to expand many aspects of her artistic practice throughout this Residency resulting in quilt making, textile painting, and facilitating Dadaist poem workshops - all with a deep focus on community engagement in Hamilton, Montana.
