By invitation from The Welcome Project, Fitterer worked as a guest artist engaging participants in Cincinnati’s 2023 World Refugee Day. This annual gathering is not only a celebration of cultures, but also meant to build community with and among refugees in Cincinnati by connecting them to local resources.

Through drawing, painting, and writing our table connected with dozens of youth and displayed their artwork at the event.
